Hi! My name is Olivia, and I am currently a senior studying strategic communications with an emphasis in media design at the College of Media, Communications and Information at the University of Colorado, Boulder. I am an art practices minor, and I am passionate about merging my background in studio art and communication skills together to create a creative work space. I have previously taken design classes through my communications major, but never as an art credit. I am excited for this course because I feel like It will really improve my skills within adobe creative cloud and be a good source of a portfolio for the future. I am hoping to really perfect my photoshop skills as I need this skill for my major as well. In the future I am really hoping to land a job where I have space to be creative; I am definitely not cut out for a corporate boring job :) In addition to art, something else I really enjoy is traveling. This past year I spent about 8 months out of the country, where I expanded my cultural domain as well as am now learning a new language! With family background in Italian, I am very passionate about learning this language as well as I love to cook Italian cuisine. I feel very connected to Italian culture and am looking to move back there after I finish my studies at CU Boulder. I am looking to continue my design studies at a University in Roma, Italy. This way I can expand my learning abilities and knowledge not just in general, but in. a different country with a new culture.
