I really enjoyed this lab, I had a lot of fun playing with all of the provided effects. Animation is definitely really challenging and it can often be hard to remember all of the available features since there are so many. I have never really worked with after affects before this lab and I am excited to start my final project and animate my characters with all of the new skills I have learned. For this lab I decided to use barbie as my main focus since she has a good structure to animate as her arm and legs are clear to the eye and made using the puppet tool much easier due to her such defined limbs. She walks pretty funny in my animation because it was really challenging to make her limbs appear like they are walking, due to the noodly effect the animation gives off. For my final, I want to make my character have more more swift, smooth movements, as opposed to he choppy ones that barbie was making. I enjoyed using the spin tool, I think I will definitely use this effect as a transition from my movie aspect of the film to the animation to give off the effect of being a dream like scene. Knowing how to make key frames is a very essential aspect of working with after effects and is necessary to create your composition. Overall, I really enjoyed creating an animation with after effects and I am excited to keep developing my skills!
