I had a lot of fun with this project! I learned so many fun tricks and things within after effects and I feel so much more confident on the platform now. I definitely got frustrated a few times, but ultimately I am really happy I had so much time to practice on after effects and learn how to navigate it. Maybe I could have drawn my own characters- I think drawing them would have made it easier to navigate. I spent a lot of time on the background. I thought I had a pretty good storyline and I ultimately liked my characters and felt it was funny and silly, and I got some laughs from the class. I really enjoyed creating the background and watching it slowly build into an underwater landscape. I did not realize how many different things you can do in after effects to create such cool settings. I may have spent a bit too much time on making the background though. But it was fun creating the actual film aspect with my roommates. Putting it into premier pro was pretty easy to navigate and I had fun clipping clips together and adding my audio files to enhance my project. I definitely want to keep working with after effects more. Overall this was a really cool project and there was so much space for creativity. I am going to continue re watching the videos you post for the labs as well as Youtube tutorials so I can better my skills.
